RJ is a couple of months old now. But being that I’m trying to catch up on blog shares and it’s Veteran’s Day, I’m here to share his session. We used his dad’s Air Force jacket and I love how tiny RJ looks in it. Thankfully, for dad, the little accident (pictured below) didn’t happen while he was IN the jacket. 😉 We also were able to use Ana’s belly cast! And it was honestly the place he was most comfy and still. He fit perfectly!
I met Ana, his mom, when we worked together for her maternity photos. We had a plan of also making some underwater portraits, but we were up against the clock. And the weather just wasn’t cooperating with us while we worked ON LAND! I offered to re-shoot her beach session because our first attempt was a wash out. It was crazy windy, and when she went to change, without warning the rain came down, and hard. We all ran to cover, and I was even stung by a jellyfish. But, we did meet again and were able to make some beautiful photos at sunset! (Woohoo!)
I absolutely was smitten with her daughters from the first day on the beach, and when we saw each other again for RJ’s newborn session, they greeted me with open arms into their home. They were so excited for me to meet their new little brother, they took me straight to his bassinet, ready to wake him! Haha.. Sweetness!
I’ll be seeing all of them soon again, and I can’t wait! In the meantime, here are some highlights from our sessions together.
