Oh man, little Max was an absolute dream.
I was due to meet his mom for maternity photos and was unable to due to her being put on rest. So, when I got the call that he was here – I was over the moon excited to finally meet her and Max. I should also tell you guys that both Yeli (mom) and Max are best friends with another mom/son duo I work with. Is that not just so neat!?? ❤ So, Max and Brayden are going to grow up being best buds, just like their moms. And what’s even better, is that Yeli and Gaby are going to go through motherhood together, too!
During his session, Max did so great. He gave us some poses with his eyes open, and some super sleepy. He rocked both and was just making me love my job even more. We also got a few smiles – which are always so great to get, b/c they don’t always get captured at the perfect moment. I couldn’t have asked for more from him – and his mom. She hung out with me during the session, and even offered to come assist me during future session. 🙂 I tell you, I couldn’t ask for better people to work with. We also had a little laugh during her ordering appointment as I used a product sample that featured Brayden’s newborn session! She recognized him right away; like the awesome Tia she is.
A huge thank you to Gaby for referring me and sharing me with your friend – and an equally huge thank you to Yeli for choosing me to make Max’s first portraits.
Here are some highlights from our session.
