Oh man.. little Peyton was one the sweetest, dreamiest, little guys I’ve worked with. He was awake at the beginning and after a bit of milk and rocking, he was fast asleep and for what felt like a long ol’ while. I work to get the standard posing before getting TOO creative so that we don’t disturb baby’s sleep. And after the standard posing flow, we were able to get some with big brother, in a new basket/globe prop I had just received a day before (!!) and the on black baby-in-hands pose. Which has quickly become one of my favorites. It shows how little he was once, in comparison to momma’s hands. And I also get family involved, not just baby. We did get full family portraits, but in lieu of privacy requests, I’m not sharing here. But, they are hung up on their wall at home!
I had already worked with his momma, Thariana, for her maternity session and I couldn’t be happier to document more of Peyton’s arrival. And I couldn’t thank Peyton’s parents enough for choosing me to be part of their little man’s life and their family’s growth.
